There will be several Ph.D. graduate student sessions organized by topic and Best Presentation competitions within each. Best Ph.D. paper winners will get a travel award (amount to be announced soon). To enter the candidate must submit a paper, via e-mail (carpedm@auburn.edu) upon which his/her presentation will be based, prior to the conference (deadline October 15, 2005). A letter of recommendation from the candidate's major professor will also be required (e-mail will suffice).

There will also be a general graduate student poster session where theory and applications are both encouraged.  Those in competition will be judged on-site during poster presention periods.
